Webdeveloper for 1 year now!

So now I‘m a professional webdeveloper. Being part of a team to make great applications with a website attached to it. XML & XSLT are the next skills to master. It‘s almost 2 months since I‘ve started with this job and I love it!. Here we make special office-packages. For Travel companies and all other. Everyday new challenges and great colleagues. It‘s been an interesting year. I‘ve learned a lot of different techniques. Now it‘s all daytime hours. I do miss the freedom of the nightshifts, but if Iwork more than 40 hours, I don‘t mind at all. After this year my cat Molly wakes me up around 7:30. And I read subtitles like; hey, it‘s way past 6:30, get out of bed. Mrauw. The one true disadvantage is that weekends are truly short. I don‘t get out so often anymore, but all in good time.....

The Black Cats - Amsterdam
These recordings were made at the Cruise Inn by the three Ronnies and The Black Cats. Do you recognise the singer of Black Cats? It‘s Richard Jordan(El Rio Trio) The other members are Paul Li La Ling, Edwin Verbeek and Dennis Kneulman. The Ronnies last names are Zevenbergen, Karrenbeld and Gerritsma.

Victory to the computer era! Armed with the tape, a mini soundset and a special connecting cable, we have preserved this recordings digitally.

If I got the time I like to expiriment with fifties styled things. Before I used paper and pencils, nowadays we use the computer. At the moment I like to create animations and clip-art, all inspired on the fifties and old ads. All these can be downloaded and used. Lincoln Premiere 1957

This is the story of "how so called trust-worthy compagnies" can ruin a rockers dream. We bought ourselves a Lincoln Premiere 1957 to cruise around in style. The kind of car that was inspired on the atomic age, tailfins like true rockets at the back and lots of chrome. Airconditioned and the windows can be opened electric. V8 engine and double exhaust. This is the automobile to cruise in.
Anyway ...years later and I‘m wondering if this rocketship will fully recover of its crash landings. Thanks to our friends Marc, Ed, Richard and Fred for their great help with the second reconstruction of the engine. See the parts, the engine dangling, and a empty place under the hood. See the video‘s and hear the noise of this excellent cubanised engine.
Note: to cubanise your car: Have friends with sharp minds, great skills and a great taste for beer. They know THE solution for your engine trouble!.

This and that

2007 we redecorated our home. Maily the upper floors, hall and kitchen. You can see how we did, what we‘ve been collecting and how we live.
March 2008 we had a surprise for our friend Paula. After years of talkin‘ about a Tikibar... we build one for her. TIKI pictures. At the same time we‘ve had some worries about Ron‘s health, but he ‘s getting better by every day... And sadly we had to say farewell to the two elder cats, Pipo & Pooki. Both reached the age of 18 and they‘ve had a very good life. But it‘s a lot more quiet around and in our home.....

I love to take pictures. Friends, funny, fifties, crazy or cool, try to catch everything on the new digital magic box. Every time we go to a festival, band or party, I have my camera with me. We often go to the Cruise Inn (Amsterdam) and Ron plays the upright bass and has played in Hop, Skip & Jump, Cat Lost!, Spin Out Four and the Hotrod Sinners. Since 2006 he‘s became a professionel musician for a living. So I‘ve had plenty of opportunity to make great pictures. Friends even started to donate their pictures for this webpage. So check back often, there are updates regulary!
